The Greatest Showman director Michael Gracey’s new movie Better Man now has an official release date. Although Gracey struck gold with the 2017 musical starring Hugh Jackman as P.T. Barnum, he has not directed a narrative movie since its release, with his only feature-length project being the 2021 music documentary P!nk: All I Know So Far. Better Man is a musical biopic starring English pop star Robbie Williams as himself, though it was previously rumored that he would be portrayed as a CGI monkey.

Per Deadline, Better Man has been given a release date by Paramount Pictures. The movie’s release will kick off with an awards-qualifying limited run on December 25 before a wide release in theaters on January 17, 2025. This news comes three years after the project was originally announced in February 2021 and a year and a half after principal photography kicked off in mid-2022.
