Comcast Is Cutting the Price on Many of Its Most Popular Mobile Plans by as Much as $20 a Month

Are you a Comcast Xfinity Internet customer? Been thinking about switching to Comcast’s mobile service? You may want to give the plans a second look as Comcast is cutting the price of some of its plans by up to $20 a month.

Comcast’s new Unlimited Intro and Unlimited Plus plans have seen their prices cut by $5 to $20 a month depending on how many lines you pay for. The single line plan now starts at $40 a month down from $45. The five lines plan is now $120 a month down from $140 a month.

Comcast is also raising the premium data hotspot data limits from starting at 20 GB a month to 30 GB a month for its Intro plans and its Plus plans now start at 50 GB a month. This change was first spotted by LightReading.

If you are on the Unlimited Premium plans, your pricing and features remain unchanged.

For Comcast customers this is great news as it could save them up to $240 a year. Also, the increase in premium hotspot data could help Comcast stand out from its competitors.

Increasingly wireless services are becoming a very competitive market. A growing number of resellers like Comcast are starting to put pressure on major carriers like T-Mobile, Verizon, and AT&T. This fight has slowly resulted in more aggressive pricing from all parties resulting in better deals for consumers.
