WWE 2K24‘s official roster is now available in full. Including 250 superstars, a slight increase over WWE 2K23‘s roster of 246, 2K24 is one of the biggest WWE video games in recent years. While the bulk of its wrestlers and managers will be available at launch, several others will be released as DLC on a rough monthly schedule. Announced just before the 2024 Royal Rumble, WWE 2K24 arrives in plenty of time for Wrestlemania XL.

WWE 2K24 includes some of the most sweeping changes to its recurring roster since the turn of the century. Many new wrestlers have new and improved character models, and these don’t just reflect their new hairstyles or ring attire. Several of them appear to have been sculpted from scratch, for better or worse. WWE 2K24 also includes 56 new playable characters, including both wrestlers from across the brand’s many eras, and a few unexpected surprises.

WWE 2K24 – Release Date, Cover Superstars, Modes, & Preorder Bonuses

The newest yearly entry in the WWE 2K series, WWE 2K24, has revealed its release date, cover Superstars, and new game modes for the upcoming title.

WWE 2K24: Roster Highlights, Surprises, & DLC Expectations

The Undertaker is perhaps the most well-represented superstar on the WWE 2K24 roster, with three separate versions reflecting his appearances in 1998, 2003, and his most recent match in 2020. 2K24 marks Cody Rhodes’ second consecutive appearance in a WWE video game since his return to the company in 2022. A recent tradition has seen musicians appearing alongside wrestlers in WWE games – last year was Bad Bunny, and this year, it’s Post Malone.

Post Malone not only appears as a playable character in
WWE 2K24
: he also curated its soundtrack.

Another major surprise is the inclusion of Muhammad Ali on WWE 2K24‘s roster. Although best known as a boxer, Ali was no stranger to wrestling. He wrestled Gorilla Monsoon and Antonio Inoki in 1976, and appeared as a referee at the very first Wrestlemania in 1985.

Other new arrivals include CM Punk, Kairi Sane, and Bray Wyatt’s alter ego The Fiend. Although Punk technically came back to the WWE last year, his return came too late for him to appear in WWE 2K23. Sane also returned to WWE last year after a brief stint in Stardom, the women’s wing of New Japan Pro Wrestling.
