Everything New in March 2024 (Bugs, Fish, Seasonal Items)

Animal Crossing players can enjoy a quiet month in March. No events are scheduled, but there are lots of new critters to catch for museum collections.

March is an excellent month for critter collectors in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, as the seasons change and new bugs, fish, and deep-sea creatures emerge from their hiding places. Players in the Northern Hemisphere will be able to enjoy the springtime sunshine and showers, while Southern Hemisphere players can look forward to the fall. However, party animals in both hemispheres don’t have much to celebrate.

After a lively February packed with major events, players will find that March is much quieter, with no major events scheduled. New critters are abundant for anyone hoping to complete their museum collections, but anyone looking forward to tournaments and parties will have to find their own fun. March is a fantastic opportunity to sit back, enjoy island life, and do spring cleaning.

March Events And Seasonal Items

Every Animal Crossing New Horizons Event In Spring 2022 March April Shamrock

As mentioned above, no events are scheduled for March 2024 in either hemisphere. The next major events occur in April, with the next Fishing Tourney also scheduled for April 14th. Until then, players must keep busy filling out their museum collections with critters, artwork, and fossils.

The closest players get to an event is Shamrock Day, which lasts from March 10th to March 17th. However, this event only adds a few special seasonal items to Nook Shopping rather than creating an island-wide party. As such, if you’re planning to visit your Animal Crossing: New Horizons island in March, then it’s a good idea to prepare your fishing rods, nets, and deep-sea diving gear. There are a lot of critters to catch wherever you look.
