NCIS Spinoff Casts Young Gibbs
The NCIS spinoff Origins has found the actor who will be playing a younger version of Gibbs, Mark Harmon’s long-running character from the original.
The upcoming NCIS spinoff NCIS: Origins has found the actor who will play a young version of Mark Harmon’s Gibbs. Harmon originated the role of Leroy Jethro Gibbs in the popular procedural that airs on CBS. Origins begins in 1991 and will chronicle the agent’s early years before the beginning of NCIS.
Deadline reports that Austin Stowell will star in NCIS: Origins as the younger version of Gibbs. Stowell has starred in a slew of television shows and movies, most notable Catch-22, the recent Fantasy Island horror remake, and Swallow.
