The trailer starts out with the awesome battle between Garou versus Royal Ripper and Bug God, as the “villain” protects a young boy from the two monsters trying to kill him. This fight was the beginning of the Monster Raid arc, one of the best storylines in the series that featured the most action and fights. Based on the premise, season 3 has the potential to blow all previous seasons out of the water, and the animation in the trailer shows just that.
JC Staff, the studio that animated season 2 of One-Punch Man, Toradora, and other great series, will resume their role. Tomohiro Suzuki will be the series compositor and his impeccable record from projects like Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End and One-Punch Man seasons 1 and 2 should reassure fans of ONE and Yusuke Murata’s hit manga. Chikashi Kubota, Shinjiro Kuroda, and Ryosuke Shirakawa will be in charge of character design, and Makoto Miyazaki will handle the music. The project is bringing back everyone who made the first 2 seasons the icon it is, and they will hopefully replicate it for a third time.
