After grossing $800m worldwide, 2017’s Wonder Woman is one of DCEU’s most successful movies to date, but despite this, DC is reportedly uninterested in making a new movie. Wonder Woman became one of the most critically acclaimed DCEU movies upon its release, even boasting the highest Rotten Tomatoes score of any movie in the DCEU timeline. The Patty Jenkins-directed franchise was in line to receive a third installment before the DCEU was finally brought to a halt with the announcement of the DCU, whereupon the future of Wonder Woman became uncertain.


Yet Patty Jenkins has seemed to clarify on the Talking Pictures podcast (via Comicbook) that DC is “not interested in doing any Wonder Woman for the time being.” The full interview can be listened to below:
