Live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender star Dallas Liu, who portrays Prince Zuko in the Netflix series, has offered a filming update for season 2, speculating when production might begin. The eight-episode series garnered mixed reviews from critics, but managed to garner a lot of views following its debut. Because of this, Netflix renewed the show for seasons 2 and 3, allowing it to adapt the entirety of the 2005 animated series.


Speaking with The Direct before Avatar: The Last Airbender season 2 was announced, Liu speculated production for the series would resume later in 2024. He speculated filming would start up again in August, but said he didn’t know how many episodes there would be. Check out what Liu had to say below:
