Today’s Connections Hints & Answers For March 17, 2024 (Puzzle #279)

The final Connections of the weekend is here and these particular categories could cause a few players to lose their long-standing win streaks. There is always a chance that the categories are just too niche, and maybe your hobbies don’t line up with today’s word groupings. If this starts to happen it can be a nice palate cleanser to step away from the game for a second, maybe complete the daily game Wordle, then come back.

If Connections is still giving you trouble, one of the smartest things to do is utilize the provided ‘shuffle’ button. Oftentimes we’ll get stuck on a few words that only kinda go together, but aren’t the actual answer. This can happen and shuffling the words up is the perfect way to help break that thought process and start anew. Oftentimes it will even put words that actually go together next to each other for easy wins.

ABSURDITY

FOLLY

MADNESS

NONSENSE

Yellow was our second win for today’s Connections as NONSENSE and ABSURDITY were quick to draw our eye. This was an easy win for us as we would often see these words written on our essay papers from elementary school, usually followed by “See me after class.”

Green Answers: Revealed & Explained

MOVE FORWARD

ADVANCE

MARCH

PROGRESS

PUSH

Our third win for the day, and in hindsight the simplest of today’s categories. ADVANCE and PUSH stuck out to us first as these words were often used by our middle-school guidance counselor when discussing our grades. They just let anyone PROGRESS through the school system in the 90’s.

SKUNK

The blue category was definitely the first one we scored today. GARBAGE and SKUNK stuck out first as that was our nickname in high school. After a good cry, we noticed the other two smelly words and scored our first win for the day.

SIX

After wasting SIX years in college we realized we’d spent thousands on a FAKE degree that meant nothing. We should have known better than to trust an online school that CUT and ran with our money right as our bank decided to FREEZE the account. We will never financially recover from today’s Connections.
