New set photos from Outlander: Blood of My Blood have revealed a first look at Claire’s parents as filming in Glasgow, Scotland continues. The prequel show is expected to follow how Claire’s parents met during World War I, while also focusing on Jamie’s parents meeting in the 18th century. Unlike the original show, which is based on Diana Gabaldon’s book series of the same name, the upcoming prequel features an original story.


Now, The Herald has revealed set photos from the upcoming Outlander: Blood of My Blood, offering a first look at Claire’s parents. The photos reveal the characters Julia Moriston (Hermoine Corfield) and Henry Beauchamp (Jeremy Irvine) on a set of stairs in Glasgow, a horse-drawn carriage behind them. Two images focus on the couple having an emotional conversation on the wide set of stairs, while two others show Julia walking with the carriage parked behind her.
