PARTS OF AN AIRPORT

HANGAR

RUNWAY

TARMAC

TERMINAL

An incredibly easy start to today’s game with TERMINAL and TARMAC leading the way. It was easy to spot out the other two words despite the common theme of today’s game being compound words.

LEGAL TERMS

A green Connections game bar

ACTION

CLAIM

COMPLAINT

LAWSUIT

LAWSUIT almost ruined our win with the green category as it fits nicely into the purple category as well as this one. CLAIM and COMPLAINT though made it fairly easy to decipher, but the other two words threw us off the categories scent.

THINGS A JUGGLER JUGGLES

BEANBAG

CLUB

RING

TORCH

This was our leftover category for the day, it wasn’t that it was an overly difficult one but the other compound words were really grabbing our attention. RING and TORCH seem like the obvious starters for this one.

WORDS ENDING IN CLOTHING

FOXGLOVE

GUNSHOE

TURNCOAT

WINDSOCK

We spent most of our time on this particular category in today’s game. There were so many compound words at the start that we ended up wasting a few attempts trying to make it work. Once the clothing idea appeared in our brains we lost another attempt by using LAWSUIT. Luckily it was still a win and we scored today’s purple category in second place.
